Symfonys Coaching Forum is made up of experts in a wide selection of professions and includes Partners, Associates and of course our member clients. Our experts each have a minimum of 30 years' experience in their field. They also have delivered results to at least 30 clients. On this page we introduce our partners. Michael Harpham

Partner, Personal Development


Michael is an organisational performance, management and team improvement consultant. He has worked with senior executives at client companies such as HSBC, Coats plc, Shell, BP, and adidas. He formed his own company, Symfonys Group, in 1994, based in Hong Kong and now in Thailand.

Prior to joining Coats, Michael served as Team and Organisation Development Manager for HSBC, Personnel Development Manager for Imperial Group and Training Manager for Commercial Union Assurance and Phoenix Assurance. Michael’s 40 years’ experience developing people and organisations include serving as Director of Learning for Coats plc, where he assisted the company in overcoming internal constraints to implement global market and supply chain strategies.

Michael earned a BA and an MA from Christ’s College, Cambridge and speaks French and German. He holds multiple professional qualifications including FRSA, FCII, CDipAF, MIPD, DipWSET and ATM and licenses for OPQ, Psychometric testing, LIFO, MBTI, and Team Management Systems.

Mark Reardon

Partner, Business Development

Mark is a high-calibre, internationally-experienced Chief Executive with a wealth of commercial experience gained in private banking and trusts, venture capital, angel investments and e-commerce technologies – publishing, learning and security. He has acquired, integrated and rationalised several multi-million dollar corporations.

Mark has managed a restaurant group in Moscow, fashion brands in Asia, medical tourism in Mexico and Eco-Resorts and Hotels and managed sports and pop personalities. He is currently Chairman of Sully Trust and Foundation, Monaco managing private assets, land, estates and hotels. Mark has been Director of Credit Suisse Winterthur, Chairman of CCS Group, an e-commerce implementation and productivity consulting Group, Partner of Proudfoot Consulting Group plc, a global leader across all sectors of FT 100 clients in change management and productivity consulting. His other roles include Director of Gladstone plc and Eurobenefits plc and he was CEO of Value Publishing USA and China, a pioneer in e-learning used by Fortune 500 company corporate universities.

Mark is a dynamic leader and manager, tenacious, undeterred by business setbacks, with proven ability to implement short-, medium- and long-term growth, innovative, hands-on and visionary. He has a BA in Economics and Commercial Law, is a Fellow Institute of Directors, lives in Monaco, London and Hong Kong, races historic Aston Martins, flies World War II Spitfires and is President of the European Trade Association.

Randhir Sharma (Ron)

Partner, Business Development - Financial, Management, Sales, Marketing

sharmaRon has worked for over 30 years in the financial services industry, involved mainly in distribution, marketing, training, sales management, people and organisational development.

Ron’s breadth of knowledge and expertise was accumulated internationally - UK, Singapore, India and the Far East - with blue-chip organisations.

He led the development of numerous, productive bancassurance relationships, including the negotiation of terms with banking partners and regulators, tailoring marketing and sales strategies, developing products, managing remuneration and incentives for sales staff, training and administration. He is highly-skilled in the development of new business through the management of sales activities, the penetration of new markets and the introduction of emerging products.

Ron is a Chartered Insurer (UK), an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, holds a Masters’ Degree in Education, Training & People Development, a Doctorate in Business Administration and a Diploma - Personal Finance Society.
